Here at Stellarossa, our mission is to offer the complete customer service experience at each of our locally owned and operated cafés. What does this mean for our customers? We strive to provide premium service, perfect coffee and delicious meals made fresh in-house, using local produce.
Stellarossa Coffee began in Brisbane in 2009, and since then, we’ve grown throughout Queensland and Northern New South Wales and are looking to expand even further!
Each café is owned and locally operated, meaning our franchise owners are invested emotionally in making the business work. At our stores, you will find that each has a different menu comprised of Stellarossa core dishes that our guests have come to know and love, but also with lots of Local Favourites to make their own.
We are passionate about serving delicious food and providing excellent customer service. We currently offer breakfast and lunch service, providing a great work-life balance for our people. However, as we look to expand our services to include dinner, it is important to note we still want to give you the opportunity to work a schedule that suits both you and us!
As such, we're looking for like-minded individuals to join our team in one of our BOH Kitchen Staff positions, either casually or permanently part/full-time.
The Opportunity:
In this fast-paced and dynamic environment, you can create a wide variety of dishes, from classic favourites to exciting new creations. We want to give you the freedom to experiment with different flavours, local ingredients, and techniques, allowing you to take your cooking to the next level.
Our Banyo store is looking to expand its team, but with locations across Northern Brisbane, if this franchise doesn’t work for you, you can choose the best place for you!

Your cafe may, from time to time, hold pop-up events in the evenings which you may be required to work at.
As a BOH kitchen staff member, you are responsible for managing the freshness and quality of all the ingredients that come into our kitchen, ensuring that our customers always receive the best possible dining experience.
Are you the culinary wizard we are after?
To thrive in this role, you will be a creative and passionate individual with a love for the culinary industry and a good knowledge of local food and produce. Experience working in high-pressure environments is necessary as it will provide a challenge whilst lull periods allow you to plan the next service.
A certificate in culinary would give you a head start in this role. However, it is not essential as your experience working in a café or restaurant will have exposed you to cooking and hopefully even equipped you with the ability to create consistent dishes.
You will bring your skillset of knowing how to run a service and, with that, an understanding of how franchises work, knowing the importance of consistency. We would love for you to have experience in costs of goods and knowing all things stock, but we are happy to upskill you in this area if need be.
